Atlantis Submarine Dive Aruba
See spectacular coral reefs, a vast assortment of colorful marine life, and 2 dramatic shipwrecks in the waters of the Caribbean. A trained submarine pilot takes you just off the coast of Aruba, where you find fascinating underwater ecosystems, including coral reefs and shipwrecks.
Step into the US Coast Guard-approved, Green Globe-certified submarine, watch as the hatches are sealed, and dive 130 feet (39.6 m) into the Caribbean Sea. The submarine's crew offers insightful and entertaining commentary as you plunge to the bottom of the sea for a touchdown landing.
See one of the largest shipwrecks in the Caribbean, locally referred to as a ghost ship. The Hamburg America Line cargo ship is believed to have scuttled in 1940 and currently lies under more than 60 feet (18 m) of water, surrounded by tropical fish and lobsters. At the end of your underwater adventure, you receive a dive certificate for your participation.

Itinerary
Begin your adventure in downtown Oranjestad, where you’ll get a safety briefing and orientation at the tour center. Then step aboard the tour’s surface vessel for transfer to the submarine. This technologically advanced passenger submarine, certified by the U.S. Coast Guard, makes it possible for even nonswimmers and small children to dive deep below the surface of Aruba’s waters. Grab a window seat in the submarine and prepare for the dive. Get views of marine life on the Barcadera Reef and see two local shipwrecks. Learn about the marine life you see, the reef ecosystem, and the history of the crashed ships through your crew’s informative commentary. After you surface and head back to land, you’ll receive an official dive certificate to take home.
