Itinerary

Be ready for convenient pickup at your hotel in Oranjestad and prepare to learn all you ever wanted to know about Aruba. Buckle in to your air-conditioned tour vehicle and take off for a whirlwind tour. Your first stop is an aloe vera factory, where you'll learn about this fascinating industry. Then it's on to the California Lighthouse, dating from 1910. Learn about the landmark’s history through your guide’s commentary and snap photos of the panoramic views from the vantage point of the rocky outcropping on which it sits. The day’s next stop are the Casibari or Ayo rock formations, where you can stroll around to take in the unusual shapes and learn about their formation over the years from your guide. At the Casibari rock formations, you can also see some ancient paintings made by the Arawak Indians, the island’s original inhabitants, or hike around an easy loop up to the top of the largest boulder. You'll also visit the Natural Bridge formation. At the Bushiribana gold mine ruins, look for flecks of gold in the soil left over from Aruba’s gold rush and snap photos of the north coast landmark before moving on to the Aloe Vera Factory, where you will take a tour and shop for souvenirs. Stopping at the family-owned Charlie’s Bar, serving up drinks for the past 75 years to locals and tourists alike. You'll pass the murals in San Nicolaas before reaching Baby Beach, where you can spend some time unwinding and swimming before returning to your hotel for drop-off.
